This year we are conducting research into monocoque chassis design. This research will allow us to incorporate monocoque construction into our future vehicles.

Advantages of Monocoque Design:

Low weight.
Chassis can be part of the bodywork.
Greater rigidity when compared to spaceframe of similar weight.

Disadvatages of Monocoque Design:

Design is difficult to analyse using traditional methods.
Greater material cost.
Specialised construction methods.
